Super Blue Green Algae (SBGA) is a wild food, and because it is processed by a gentle low-temperature drying method called Bioactive Dehydration™ it has a much longer shelf life than any fresh food, making it a very convenient way to have on hand all the nutrients necessary to maintain healthy body and mind.
Wild foods have energetic properties simply not found in cultivated foods. Because they grow wherever they want, they make a statement about their strength and independence. They are “bug-proof”, withstanding attacks of pets, insects and harsh climate, and they protect us from bug bites and various bacteria. Wild foods go perfectly with the season, and because they are not treated they are pure and honest. They reflect adaptability, grace, flexibility, fluidity, freedom, independence, persistence, purity and resonance.
SBGA is one of Nature’s most efficient, versatile and prolific nutritional powerhouses – and, for the past 10,000 years or more, it has had the perfect environment in which to thrive and grow to its highest potential. Thousands of people who have included it as a regular part of their diet report a remarkably wide range of benefits to their health and overall physical and mental well being.
SBGA is a very nutrient-rich food that can greatly aid in the process of healing, and maintaining the best health that our body is capable of. It contains the eight essential amino acids that cannot be manufactured by the human body. They are: isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine. SBGA also contains the two important amino acids, histidine and arginine that are essential for healing, repairing, and children’s growth.
The neuropeptides in SBGA help to repair, rebuild, and strengthen the neurotransmitters in the brain so that the brain’s neurons, or nerve cells, can communicate at 100% effectiveness to the rest of the body. One of the main factors that allow a degenerative condition to gain a foothold in our body is poor “electronic signals” going to the brain and back to the organs and other parts of the body. Thus, in order to correct the “communication problem” it is necessary to reestablish the quality of the nerve impulses so that they freely flow in both directions.
When this happens the body comes into the natural harmony that nature intended. SBGA helps in the process of bringing balance back to our body.
Some of the ingredients that make SBGA so special
Calcium
Builds and maintains bones and teeth; helps blood to clot; aids vitality and endurance; regulates heart rhythm.
Cobalt
Stimulates the production of red blood cells, and component of vitamin B12 necessary for normal growth and appetite.
Copper
Necessary for absorption and utilization of iron and for the formation of red blood cells.
Cyanobalamin B12
Helps in the formation and regeneration of red blood cells, thus helping to prevent anemia; promotes growth and increased appetite in children; a general tonic for adults.
Cystine
Cystine is of interest not only because it builds proteins such as hair, but also because it helps destroy harmful chemicals in the body such as acetaldehyde and free radicals produced by smoking and drinking. Recently, Dr. William Philpott has postulated that cystine is necessary for the utilization of vitamin B-6. His studies suggest that “a majority of chronic degenerative illnesses, whether physical or mental, have a vitamin B-6 utilization disorder. The culprit in this vitamin B-6 utilization problem seems to be cystine deficiency.”
Glutamine
Tests have shown that glutamic acid, a “nonessential” amino acid, improves intelligence, speeds the healing of ulcers, gives a “lift” from fatigue, and diminishes the craving for sweets.
Iron
Required in manufacture of hemoglobin; helps carry oxygen in the blood.
Lysine
Lysine is an essential amino acid in that it is required for human nutrition and is not produced by the body. Lysine is a key amino acid in many critical body proteins, and is needed for growth, tissue repair, and the production of antibodies, hormones, and enzymes. Current research efforts are being directed at the possibility of lysine having a role in reducing the incidence of herpes infection and migraine headaches. Natural lysine deficiencies result in tiredness, inability to concentrate, irritability, bloodshot eyes, retarded growth, hair loss, anemia, and reproductive problems.
Magnesium
Necessary for calcium and vitamin C metabolism; essential for normal functioning of nervous and muscular system.
Manganese
Activates various enzymes and minerals; related to proper utilization of vitamins B1 and E.
Phenylalanine
Phenylalanine is a nutrient essential to life. All of the nutrient amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, but phenylalanine is one of the few amino acids readily converted into basic brain compounds that control our mood. Research is now being directed to look at the role of dietary phenylalanine in increasing the sense of well being. Medical researchers are studying the role of this nutrient in overcoming depression, improving memory, increasing mental alertness, and controlling allergies.
Phosphorus
Needed for normal bone and tooth structure. Interrelated with action of calcium and vitamin D.
Potassium
Necessary for normal muscle tone; nerve functioning, heart action, and enzyme reactions.
Pyridoxine B6
Aids in food assimilation and in protein and fat metabolism; prevents various nervous and skin disorders; prevents nausea.
Riboflavin B2
Improves growth, promotes general health, and is essential for healthy eyes, skin, and mouth.
Thiamine B1
Promotes and aids growth and digestion that is essential
for normal functioning of nerve tissues, muscles, and heart.
Tyrosine
Recent clinical research finds that the natural amino acid, tyrosine, is helpful in overcoming depression, improving memory, and increasing mental alertness. The research has stimulated interest in the nutritional role of this dietary factor.
Vitamin A
Builds resistance to infections, especially of the respiratory tract. Helps maintain a healthy condition of the outer layers of many tissues and organs. Promotes growth and vitality. Permits formation of visual purple in the eye, counteracting night blindness and weak eyesight. Promotes healthy skin. Essential for pregnancy and lactation.
Vitamin C
Necessary for healthy teeth, gums, and bones; strengthens all connective tissue; promotes wound healing; helps promote capillary integrity and prevention of permeability; a very important factor in maintaining sound health and vigor.
Zinc
Helps normal tissue function, protein and carbohydrate metabolism.
SBGA best advantage for us is probably its mineral profile.

Everyone has seen the movie “The Secret” or read the book. And if you haven`t, you have probably heard of the Law of Attraction, the power of manifestation. I have personally been consciously using this technique for a few years now, and I have to say that for me it has been working well. I have always been writing “wishing- lists” of things I want to accomplish or manifest. And it is so much fun to find them years later just to see that a lot of what is written on the list has been accomplished or achieved!
The last one I found was from 2004. In 2004 I wanted to speak 4 languages, travel the world, skydive and a few other things. Well, nine years later I have traveled around the world, I speak 4 languages, and I went from skydiving to BASE-jumping.
The key is when you write your list ( just try it, cause it can`t hurt you, it can only work or not) to not say “I WANT”, what you should say instead is “I CHOOSE” … So for example, “I choose to attract a job as a …”
You also have to be very specific, write exactly what you want, the year or date for when you want this manifestation to take place. Otherwise the Universe gets confused…. Also when you read your list, try to picture the situation in your head, as if it has already happened.
The thing to remember is that we don’t really choose the circumstances around the things we manifest. A good example of this for me was in 2010. I was running out of money and every time I went to the ATM, I pictured the screen saying that I had 10.000 euro on my bank account. I did this again and again and again.
Six months later my dad passed away from cancer (Bless his heart), and I inherited some money.
Guess how much money I now had on my bank account?…
Yes, that is right. With my savings and the money that I inherited, I had 10.000 euro on my bank account. So I manifested the money, but of course the circumstances were very sad.
Right now I take my list everywhere I go. And I read it first thing in the morning and last thing I do before I go to bed.
Why not?
It cant hurt!
Now I will share a few things that I have on my list.
-I choose to be self employed within 1 year.
-I choose to attract great adventures in the year 2013!
-I choose to end all wars, with myself and others.
(Imagine if everyone would do this…!)
Go ahead, write your list today. And the Universe will work with you.
Yes it is possible to be a vegan and yes it is possible to be eating RAW- FOOD and only RAW FOOD. Believe it or not it actually is not a struggle. And I am not starving to death with only carrots and clery to chew on. When I started with the raw food lifestyle over 3 years ago, eating only raw food, people back home thought I was crazy.
(Nothing new, they thought I was crazy when I came home from Australia as a BASE-jumper too…)
It really is a very logical lifestyle. To eat the way Nature designed us to eat. If Nature would have wanted us to eat cooked food, wouldn´t there be things like baked potatoes hanging from the tree and spagetti bolognese growing from the ground?
Well, you get the point …
When the food we eat is RAW, its alive and has enzymes and a higher nutritional value than if its cooked. We don´t have to eat as much because we get more nutrients from less food. Enzymes are essential for us, we have a limited supply of them, and when they are gone, so are we. If we eat foods that is alive and still have their enzymes in them, we do not have to use up our own supply of enzymes, they can do other things in our bodies. This is the reason for a 70 year old woman who has been eating raw food for over 40 years, looks like a 40 year old too. It keeps people young!
It doesnt have to be an expensive diet, alot of wild plants and weeds are eadible and free! Here is a Dandelion Pesto recipe that I absolutely looove!
2 cups sunflower and/or pumpkinseeds (soaked over night)
juice from 2 lemons
1 cup of water
4 cups of greens; spinach or buckwheat sprouts
4 cloves of garlic
1tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbs dried dandelion or 3-4 fresh leaves
Mix it all together in a fast-speed blender, put in the fridge for some hours, take it out and serve it on zucchini pasta or crackers.
The Raw-food lifestyle brings me closer to Nature, I feel healthier, lighter, I get a lot of compliments on my skin, because it is “glowing”. From eating RAW FOOD, my digestion is alot better. I am very active. Eating RAW FOOD can improve your health so much! If adding supplements that contains raw-wild harvested Super Blue Green Algae, your body might really go through some radical health improvements!
Any questions? Let me know!
Peace and Raw foods to Everyone!

Even for times when I can´t run, I try to keep a running schedule going, so to speak. Even if the activity is not running, but some other kind of exercise. Right now I am doing 1 hour of exercise every day. Some days if I have been working and walking all day long (7 hours of constant walking fast pace) I dont do anything afterwards. Keeping a running schedule, doing other things is very helpful, it keeps me motivated and happy. Right now I am doing, spinning, zumba, snowboarding, hot yoga and whatever else that seems interesting to me. f I was running, I`d be probably doing that 3 times a week, and the other days somethings else, like climbing.
It is not too much I think , to dedicate 1 hour a day for physical exercise. The weather here in Durango, Co is sunny and warm during the days. So there is no excuse for not being outside.
The big thing right now is that we are moving to Switzerland in April! And I am super excited because that means that I get to BASE- jump more often, and run up in the Alps. It is such a magical place and country, everything is co clean and neat and well organized. And everything runs on time!
The place we are moving to is an extremesports “mecka” and meetingpoint for paragliders, mountainbikers, skydivers, climbers, bikers, hikers, whatever you want to do-you can do it! So I am packing down my Vitamix and my BASE parachute in my backpack and leaving most other things here in Colorado. The two most important things I am going to carry with me. I will continue doing my Super Blue Green Algae business over there too, doing Network marketing allows one to live a flexible life and creates a residual income. Suits me, I want to be able to continue to travel the world, BASE-jump and explore! And not have to dedicate all my time in to a J:O:B (JustOverBroke)
If you are interested in improving your life and your health, with the proper food, -superfood, and to maybe make a living out of it! Don´t hesitate to contact me and I will be here for you!
Wish You a wonderful week!

I want the world to know that I feel so fortunate to be here, on this planet Earth today, as a woman! Because I feel like for so many thousands of years, women have been suppressed and denied their power. And now we are stepping into our power. The power to be healers and caretakers of the Earth,. Women have a natural ability to connect with Source, a natural ability to take care of and nourish other beings. Women, more often than men live in their hearts. We listen more to the “gut feeling” or intuition and even if it doesn´t make sense to our rational mind, we act on the feeling in our hearts.
I do not believe that we are moving from a patriarchy into a matriarchy, but I believe it is somewhere in between, a new way of equality and balance. It is hard between women and men to understand each other and to find a meetingpoint. I see that in so many relationship, including my own. It is really hard to build that bridge from Mars over to Venus. Not impossible- but takes a lot of work.
Women are now stepping into their power. There are so many powerful women all over the world. And the Sisterhood between women of all ages, is an amazing thing to me! I have travelled around the globe, and whenever I needed a Sister, some guidance or help, She appeared. I have been blessed to meet many beautiful women and in many different countries. No matter the cultural differences, there is always a connection there. Recognizing the Goddess in the other, recognizing the courage and the strenght that it takes to be a caretaker, perhaps a mother, maybe a wife and hopefully a free spirit.
Today at work, I was surrounded by so many beautiful, loving and caring women and it made me so happy! Like I said, I feel blessed to have all these women in my life, to talk to to cry with, to drink hot chocolate in the sofa with, to hike and climb and jump off cliffs with.
I truly love my Sisters!
Peace

What is meditation? That is a question that I used to ask myself in my early twenties, before I started practicing it myself. To explain it to someone who has never tried to meditate themselves, is hard. Well, what is meditation and what is simply sitting around doing nothing on a pillow on the floor?
Ok, so meditating actually demands a lot of concentration, it can be hard and frustrating but also calming, kind, nourishing and gives us a channel into our soul. Sounds pretty cool ha? There are many different types of meditation, some meditations are focused on visualization, and some are focused on a specific rhythm or music. Others teach you to go inwards and to be inside the body. All types of meditations are a vehicle towards a more peaceful and loving presence. That’s how I see it. I started with Vipassana meditation seven years ago, and it totally changed my life. I am way more centered and healthier now. Meditation sessions can vary a lot. Some only sit for 15- 20 min a day and others meditate for a few hours. When I started I was meditating for one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening. Every day. I loved it!
I still meditate daily, for an hour most mornings. It gives me time to just be quiet with myself and really listen to what is going on on the inside. I do believe that if every person started meditating, our world would change very rapidly. Some days when I`m sitting there, I do get frustrated at my “monkey mind”, at how my mind keeps jumping between a handful of subjects, over and over again. “What is meditation”, I ask myself. And the answer is (in this particular practice) to just observe the pattern of our minds and accept the reality for what it is. And practice how to sharpen our “monkey minds”.
Sounds easy? You try it!
Lately I´ve been feeling like I need something more to sharpen my focus and mental clarity and I started increasing my daily intake of the Super Blue Green Algae supplement, and when I look back at this last month, I haven’t been nearly as emotional or tired as I was before and I feel like I am more centered and can actually make better decisions! That is worth more than gold, since we have to make just about a million decisions daily!
So the conclusion is to meditate more and to eat more braincell feeding Algae!
Peace

Wild plants and weeds are excellent ingredients in the raw cuisine. How does a green drink made out of mallow, served with winter squash spagetti and dandelion pesto sound like? Or chocolate dessert with chicory root mixed in? The raw cuisine has alot to offer when it comes to utilising the “weeds” in our gardens and turning it into healthy foods.Weeds are not evil, they are in fact super good for us!
There are alot of good things in this world. A lot of good people with a lot of good intentions. What I love about the place I live in is the community here. Locals support locals. We have awesome farmers markets here in Durango, and restaurant are often bying mostof their produce from local farmers. Durango is a town located right where the desert meets the mountains, and the Animas river runs right trough town. There are alot of environmentalists here and alot of earth and plant knowledge. Many herbalists and wild food gatherers try to share this knowledge with their fellow “Durangotangs”. I work in a RAW food/ WILD food cafe called Turtle Lake Refuge. We incorporate wild plants into our meals, so the menu can look like this.
Nettle/ Mushroom soup with winter squash spagetti and dandelion pesto. For desert a chocolate cake with some chicory root mixed in.
Turtle lakes mission is to celebrate the connection between personal health and wild land. This is an important mission.
We have so much abundance in the nature around us, even in a dry climate like the desert. So many roots and berrys to use, even in the winter you can find something out there!
I am a certified RAW food/WILD food chef and I love to feel the connection of finding my own food out in the forrest and on the fields. The weeds give us so many minerals and other nutrients, they are mostly organic depending on where you pick them. Natures superfood.
Another superfood is the Super Blue Green Algae, that is also a wild food. Now this one is my favorite! It is actually Earths first food! And loaded with a broad spectrum of nutrients, minerals, phytonutrients and vitamins. It is a biomudulater, it brings the body back into balance- homeostasis.
I believe this is the way to go, back to nature. Back to the roots of respecting the land, respecting Mother nature and being grateful for all the abundance.
Share this blog with your friends and spread the word about wild plants and foods that we can pick right from the backyard to add some extra nutrients into our raw cuisine-for free!

I know some awesome recipes that will allow me (and you) to be eating raw food for Christmas, and I will share some of them with you here.
Holidays are special times for us when we get to spend some extra time with our families, but it is also a time when having a different diet can be extra hard because of the social pressure. No need to panic! Eating raw food can really be the solution if you don’t like the heaviness and drowsiness after eating cooked, rich Christmas food. Makes it much easier to dance around the Christmas tree too! That is the traditional way of celebrating Christmas in Scandinavia. In the old days, people also used to put out some food, (mostly porridge with melted butter in the middle) for the house gnome.
Maybe I´ll just make some raw delicious carrot cake to put out on the porch this year… Here are some recipes that will give a different experience to the taste buds and add a healthy element to the dinner table.
I also recommend supplementing your diet with Enzymes and Probiotics, for an easier digestion and for more overall energy. Coming from Finland, I know how I can feel in the winter time. Tired and fatigue cause of no sunlight, its dark and all I want to do I curl up and drink tee. It is harder to get motivated to do stuff. When it is cold outside, it is also harder to be eating raw food. One important thing to remember is that we can heat the food up a bit, and be mindful of not ingesting anything cold, so even a salad can be warmed up in the dehydrator or in a pot. Warm it up on low heat and stir it a lot. It is not a good idea to start your day with a cold smoothie. Better make some buckwheat porridge and warm it up slightly!
Sprouted Buckwheat Breakfast Porridge
Soak 1 cup of buckwheat over night or for 8h
Rinse well
Process the buckwheat together with 1 banana and some ginger, cinnamon, cardamom and soaked raisins in a food processor. Just hit “Pulse” a few times. Warm your porridge slightly in a pot, stir it all the time. The point is not to cook it, cause then you kill the enzymes. It`s just nicer to ingest something warm in the wintertime.
Christmas Dinner Carrot Mash
5-6 Carrots
1,5 cups of Cashews
1-2 tsp. Salt
1-2 Tbs. Lemon juice
2 Tbs. Olive oil
1 Cauliflower
Begin with processing the cashews in a food processor, add all the other ingredients (except for the cauliflower) and process it until it becomes very smooth and even. Cut the cauliflower in small pieces so it looks like rice, and mix it in with the mashed carrots. Put it in a form and dehydrate it on 110 F for a couple of hours. Sprinkle some nutmeg on top and serve it!
“May Love and Compassion fill us and surround us and our Mother Earth. May all beings be happy, may all beings be peaceful, may all beings be liberated from suffering”

Right now I am facing an injury from running, it is called “runners knee” and is a very painful experience, starts “popping up” after running a few miles. I also have sore arches on both feet, so right now I have to think of other thing to do, other “outlets”. My injury from running feels like a sign to me. A sign that I should stop running in every sense and just stop and… breathe!
When we do get injured or sick, I think it is Nature`s way of saying “you need to take a moment and look around, take time to redefine yourself again and don´t be so caught up on all the things that you think you have to do. You don´t need to do anything. Just allow yourself to be. Simply be in the moment”.
So I have started doing more yoga and meditation. And I invested in some spiritual books that are really nourishing my soul.
Speaking of nourishing, when we are sick or injured we can´t expect to be healing fast if we don’t give our bodies the right fuel. A very common misconception is that when we are sick, we need to eat A LOT. This is not true. What we need to do is eat LESS, because our bodies are working hard to “fix” itself, if and when we eat, our bodies have to put all the energy it could have used to heal the injury or inflammation we have, into digesting all the food instead. So it actually takes longer for us to get back on track again.
Drinking enough water is essential, and eating enzymes and probiotics because they work as a “garbage patrol”, cleaning our blood and fighting inflammation and bad bacteria. We are supposed to drink 2,5 liters of water(or half our body weight in ounces) every day. Not cold water, but lukewarm with some Celtic Sea salt in it. Lemons are another good, alkalizing thing to put in your drinking water.
With this injury from running, I have increased my intake of enzymes and probiotics a lot. I never use conventional medicine. The enzymes work phenomenally to reduce aches and pains due to inflammation. I also ice my knee and try to sit down or stretch whenever I can. Oxygen, is something we want to bring into our bodies as much as possible through deep breathing. It helps the blood circulation and brings new blood to the area of inflammation.
Through eating the super blue green algae we ingest chlorophyll and chlorophyll is the “blood” of the plant and is strikingly similar to the human blood (the difference being that human blood has iron as the central atom and chlorophyll has magnesium). Algae actually produces over 90% of the planets oxygen! What better food can we get than Mother Earths first food? www.earthsfirstfood.com
In the meantime, while I am “waiting” for my body to heal, I will keep reading, writing, drinking lemon water, meditating, doing yoga and being outside in the sun.
All is well, all is as it should be and my mission besides helping others is to remember to nourish my own body and soul.

The way we take care of our bodies’ trough food and exercise is very important, to me meditation for health is something equally essential. A teacher at a retreat once told me that “meditation is like food for your brain”. To me that said it all. We eat every day, sleep every day, many of us exercise on a regular basis, hopefully with the intention to stay healthy. Meditation for health is something we also should consider doing on a daily basis.
It`s funny when I think of how I started BASE- jumping, it was actually thanks to meditation! When I was 22, I got tired of school and wanted to travel as far away from my country as possible. So I went to Australia for a year. And trough synchronicity, I found Vipassana meditation. And from there I got to know a man who also practiced Vipassana. He was a skydiving instructor and BASE jumper. I was very fortunate; he taught me everything he could. Including skydiving and BASE-jumping. We sat in meditation many hours together including a 10 day course in Thailand.
I have been sitting a silent ten day course every year ever since I started. Soon the eight one is coming up. The changes that I have noticed in my life since I started meditating are profound, and the benefits of meditation are many.
My sleeping pattern has changed. I can now get by with six hours of sleep, when before I needed eight. After my first course I stopped drinking alcohol and became a dedicated vegetarian with periods of being a vegan. (Now I am on a raw food path). I started to pay attention to my body and how different foods would affect me. I also gained a mental clarity that I had not felt before. My memory is better. Synchronicity increased. I could let go of things easier, without feeling so attached to people and situations. I listen to my intuition more.
When I started meditating and noticed the benefits, I got really excited about it all and I would get up in the mornings at 4 am to practice yoga for 1-2 hours and then 1 hour of meditation. I felt so awakened and radiant. I still try to meditate every day and participate in a retreat every year. Raw foods , the Super Blue Green Algae, exercise and meditation/spiritual practice are all an expression of LIFE. My way of saying that with my whole being, I support LIFE! These are the things I do not want to miss out on, because all of them have a huge impact on me, the way I think, feel and act.
So along with all the other things you do to stay healthy; if you are not already doing it, meditation for health is something I strongly recommend for everyone.
Many Blessings and good vibrations!
